If you use the FireFox browser (and if not, why not?) it's quck and simple to use World Plant Search without visiting our site. Here's how: Go to the World Plant Search page (WorldPlants.com/wps/finder.htm) and right click in the search box. Select "Add a keyword for this search" from the right-click menu In the box that comes up, type in a Name such as "World Plant Search" Under "keyword" type a quick shorcut, such as "wps" Then click OK Now, whenever you're surfing around the net and feel the need to look for a plant, go to the FireFox address box, where you would normally type the address of the site you want to visit. Instead, type "wps" and the name of the plant you're looking for. For example: wps geranium dalmaticum Hit enter, and the next thing you'll see is a page of World Plant Search results for that plant. You can use the same method for any simple search box on any page. |
