A medium-sized upright shrub to 10-15', which glows brilliant
orange in spring, fading to a greenish yellow in summer. The
spring growth is brighter than other orange culitvars, and
persists for several weeks. It also leafs out earlier than
most cultivars, so its bright orange is the center of attention
for some time. Yellow and orange appear again in the fall.
Similar to, but brighter in spring than, 'Katsura,' or 'Calico'.'.
