Stylophorum diphyllum (Celandine Poppy, Golden Wood Poppy)
American woodland native that lights up a dark spot with 2'" bright golden yellow poppy flowers. Does well in light to deep shade, growing to 18", with large, deeply incised, dark green leaves. Unlike most woodland wildflowers, this one will bloom all summer. Eastern US. Zone 6.
