of Paradise is a well-known tropical plant, but surprisingly difficult
to find if you don't live in Florida or southen California. Which makes
some sense, since those are the places it will grow outside, but for those
of you with greenhouses, we offer young plants a few years away from blooming.
An evergreen banana relative, this plant will grow to 4-5', forming a
cluster of thick stems. The flower is very colorful, with a birdlike crest.
