Sharp's Pygmy
A tiny dwarf to about 3', probably an exaggeration. This is a very dense, compact, rounded shrub that is further distinguished by its deep red fall color. Green summer leaves are edged in red when grown in sun. A natural as a bonsai or in a container. Introduced by Sharp's Nursery in Boring, Oregon. That's a town, not an adjective. Very few available. Similar except for fall color to 'Akita yatsubusa'.
