Some newly offered cultivars MAY be added to our list after they leaf out
around mid-April. Others, including small, rare, and hard to graft cultivars,
may be added in September. Once a cultivar sells out, it remains so until
the following spring.

Maples ordered in summer may have burned leaves, and look bad, but this is only temporary. Still, spring and especially fall are far better times to ship and plant than summer. We'll delay shipments when temperatures exceed 90 F.
A small tree with
a big color range, starting with bright red and orange-pink in the spring,
changing to bronze-green with contrasting red/pink new growth, then
purple/dark green/red, then scarlet in fall. Grows 6-10' tall and 2/3
as wide. Introduced by Ruslyn Nursery in New York, who were unable to
come up with a more cumbersome name for this elegant tree.
Size #1 trees ship after they leaf out, usually
early to mid-April.
Orders
placed between mid-March and mid-June may take 3 weeks to ship. For faster
service, order in the fall, an excellent time to plant. We can ship in winter,
but read this to see if
it's a good idea for you.
