This is one of the lesser-known Acer shirasawanum cultivars that lacks a catchy name like 'Autumn Moon' or 'Red Dawn', but looks mighty good in the yard. Bright green leaves have more deeply and sharply cut lobes than 'Aureum', more like 'Autumn Moon', but without the red splashing in spring and summer. In fall, though, there's a dazzling display of red, orange, and yellow.
