Acer shirasawanum
Ogurayama

A tree with rather small leaves for its species,
It grows to about 10', and lights up in fall with
brilliant orange and red tones. The first few weeks
after leafing out in the spring, it has a silvery
appearance, due to fine silver hairs on the leaf
survace. It is sometimes listed as a cultivar of
Acer siebolianum instead of A. shirasawanum.
