A semi-dwarf shrub to perhaps 5' with rather small leaves
for a japonicum, to 3" across. This little tree has the
usual excellent fall colors of red and gold, with the
added feature of dark red bark that contrasts nicely
with the summer green foliage. Japonicums are more
cold hardy than palmatums.
