previously-offered cultivars in spring.

Heat Stress:
Mild temperatures are best for shipping and planting. Maples ordered in summer may have browned leaves, but this is only temporary. We'll delay shipments when temperatures exceed 90 F. Fall is the preferred time for planting; spring is the next best time.
A rare small cultivar
to 6-8' with reticulated leaves and coloration reminiscent of 'Aka
shigitatsu sawa' and 'Ariadne', but the
rose- to brick-red in spring and fall are darker and distinctive. Green
undertones are prominent in midsummer. Leaves are deeply cut and slightly
wavy.
