Hogyoku

Although everybody likes this tree in the fall, I like it in the
summer as well, and it's hard to explain why. The leaves are
deep green, compact and star-shaped, and give the impression of
sturdiness and tidiness, and I just find them unusual and pleasing.
The tree grows to 15-20', with an outstanding yellow-orange
fall color. It's vigorous and rather stocky, like me... except for
the vigorous part.
