Maples ordered in summer may have burned leaves, and look bad, but this is only temporary. Still, spring and especially fall are far better times to ship and plant than summer. We'll delay shipments when temperatures exceed 90 F. |

A narrow, slow-growing upright that is not multi-trunked like most circinatums. The leaves are deeply incised and irregularly shaped, with the center lobes being much longer than the others.Petioles are red. New growth ranges from rust-colored to very light yellow-green, and mature leaves are meant to be lightly spotted, but we've yet to see that. A shade-loving dwarf to about 6', rare in cultivation. |

Size
#2 trees are available
beginning September 1, and can be ordered until March 1. Starting in November,
they can be shipped bare-root to save shipping costs. These trees are in very
limited supply; many cultivars are not available in this size.
|
Orders
placed between mid-March and mid-June may take 3 weeks to ship. For faster
service, order in the fall, an excellent time to plant. We can ship in winter,
but read this to see if
it's a good idea for you. |
