Eucryphia
Eucryphia x intermedia 'Rostrevor' is an evergreen shrub or small tree native to Tasmania and rare in cultivation here, which is a shame, because it's a very attractive and unusual specimen. Narrow and densely-leaved, it still manages to have a light, airy appearance all year. From midsummer on, it's covered with an abundance of nodding white bell flowers, the largest of any Eucryphia. Grows to 20', with a compact columnar habit that makes it excellent for small gardens. Zone 7.
