A delicate but vigorous small-leaved vine to 10'. Easily grown and free-blooming with small (1" long) tubular flowers that range between deep red and orange. Takes bright shade or morning sun. Often grown as an annual in cold climates, and usually rated as zone 9 or 10, but many growers in the zone 8 Pacific Northwest have had years of success growing the vine in a sheltered area.
