Some newly offered cultivars MAY be added to our list after they leaf out
around mid-April. Others, including small, rare, and hard to graft cultivars,
may be added in September. Once a cultivar sells out, it remains so until
the following spring.

Heat Stress:
Maples ordered in summer may have burned leaves, and look bad, but this is only temporary. Still, spring and especially fall are far better times to ship and plant than summer. We'll delay shipments when temperatures exceed 90 F.
Also synonymous with 'Linearilobum Atropurpureum', this nicely-shaped tree starts out deep purple, then fades to bronze in the heat of summer, and finally changes to a bright, clear, golden yellow in fall. It should grow to about 8-10'. There are several cultivars that have different names, but authorities can't decide whether they're really different cultivars, since their growing conditions are different.

service, order in the fall, an excellent time to plant. We can ship in winter,
