Heat Stress:

Maples ordered in summer may have burned leaves, and look bad, but this is only temporary. Still, spring and especially fall are far better times to ship and plant than summer. We'll delay shipments when temperatures exceed 90 F.

A finely-textured cultivar to about 5-8', excellent for
container growing or as a specimen. Leaves tend to
hang down, giving a cascading look. Red, yellow,
and gold in the fall. This is a sun-tolerant plant. Name
might be something to do with a green dagger?

Size #2 trees are available beginning September 1, and can be ordered until March 1. Starting in November, they can be shipped bare-root to save shipping costs.
Orders placed between mid-March and mid-June may take 3 weeks to ship. For faster service, order in the fall, an excellent time to plant.
